We Sisters of the Precious Blood have dedicated our lives to serving God by serving God’s people. Our Precious Blood Spirituality and Eucharistic prayer are catalysts for all we do.
- We are a Roman Catholic community of consecrated women
- Precious Blood Spirituality and Eucharistic prayer form the cornerstones of our life and ministry
- We were founded in 1834 in Switzerland by Mother Maria Anna Brunner
- The first Precious Blood Sisters came to the United States in 1844
- Today we serve in the United States as well as in Chile and Guatemala
- We serve in a wide variety of ministries including education, spiritual formation, peace, justice and care of creation efforts, pastoral ministry, and healthcare
- We have also served in emergency response in the United States and other countries as the need arose
