Have you heard of thermostat wars? You know, when one person in the office or the home is always cold and turns the air conditioning up in the summer as well as the heat in the winter? Or the other who is always warm and everyone else keep sweaters in their desks to accommodate for the cold fronts? Complaints really do no good as we can’t control our inner workings, or those of others. So, we learn to adjust our expectations of what perfect means and step into another’s shoes to discover a different way of experiencing life. Then we might realize that another’s point of view or experience is just as valid as our own and that Jesus shed his blood for each and every one, not just those I agree with.
