Election Day looms soon.
Almost buried under tons of divisive rhetoric, crude remarks, evasive maneuvers and all the rest of the unpleasantness, is our human desire for unity; for a common life that respects the dignity of each person: born and unborn, for inclusiveness; for peace; for welcome; for joy. Whatever happens as an outcome, it is incumbent on us to work to make these basic human desires a reality in our country!
