As I was sitting on the patio this morning my attention was drawn to the garden, specifically the dew laden bleeding heart. How appropriate! Blood is life! It carries life to every cell of the body, nourishing, hydrating, fighting disease, eliminating waste and so much more. Without blood, life ceases. Christ is life! Through the outpouring of His precious blood I have life. Christ nourishes, guides, helps me through the rough times, and fills my heart with joy in the good times. All I have to do is be present, listen, and recognize Him in the smallest miracles of each day. How appropriate! I think today is going to be a great day to be alive!
