Established in 1989, Sharing & Caring is published quarterly by the Sisters of the Precious Blood, Dayton, Ohio, to communicate news of the Congregation and Precious Blood Spirituality, and to promote the Sisters’ mission.

“This Good Work” is the Congregation’s bi-monthly e-newsletter to give witness to Precious Blood Spirituality through the lens of social justice, rooted in Gospel values and Catholic social teaching. In it we share real, legitimate information and ways Sisters are thinking about and living out many issues of peace, justice and ecology.

Do you feel called? Frederick Buchner puts it beautifully when he says, “Vocation is where your deep gladness meets the world’s deep hunger.” We experience our deepest gladness when we are living our call to holiness.

There are many things that make our community of Sisters special. Our Precious Blood spirituality, our prayerful devotion to the Holy Eucharist, and the work we do to help the overlooked, downtrodden, and less fortunate members of society all combine to create a truly unique and impactful religious order.

Eucharistic prayer is a vital element of our Precious Blood Spirituality. We pray for the intercession of God’s healing, transformative love signified by the outpouring of Jesus’ redemptive sacrifice on the Cross.
