Established in 1989, Sharing & Caring is published quarterly by the Sisters of the Precious Blood, Dayton, Ohio, to communicate news of the Congregation and Precious Blood Spirituality, and to promote the Sisters’ mission.

“This Good Work” is the Congregation’s bi-monthly e-newsletter to give witness to Precious Blood Spirituality through the lens of social justice, rooted in Gospel values and Catholic social teaching. In it we share real, legitimate information and ways Sisters are thinking about and living out many issues of peace, justice and ecology.

Do you feel called? Frederick Buchner puts it beautifully when he says, “Vocation is where your deep gladness meets the world’s deep hunger.” We experience our deepest gladness when we are living our call to holiness.

Our lives are affected by the violence around us, whether it be from watching the news or from the death of someone close to us in an act of brutality. The Sisters of the Precious Blood want to express our solidarity with those who have lost a loved one to violence by praying for your families and community.

Eucharistic prayer is a vital element of our Precious Blood Spirituality. We pray for the intercession of God’s healing, transformative love signified by the outpouring of Jesus’ redemptive sacrifice on the Cross.
