Harvest4Hope

Harvest4Hope was a recent recipient of the CPPS Heritage Mission Fund. We will now have a house for bathroom needs, meeting and teaching space for cooking, etc.

harvest4hope Left, Sister Judy Niday’s raised gardens with her faithful helpers; middle, a family attending the cookout and checking out the work their older son had accomplished. The produce is given to the neighbors around the garden as well as Food for the Journey, who provides cooked meals for those who come to Our Lady of Grace (formerly Our Lady of Mercy). Right, Sisters Elizabeth Westgerdes and Arlene Hirsch, my guests at a cookout honoring two youth groups from Springfield and Dayton. These two youth groups volunteered a week working 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. spreading wood chips for pathways, building bench stools to sit and raised beds for herbs.
