On the day she was born, Woodrow Wilson was president of the United States, and a loaf of bread cost about 10 cents. The infamous “Spanish flu” pandemic was raging across the globe, and World War I was still underway.

Sister Bernice (M. Erwin) Krieg has lived through these and many other historic events in her hundred years of life. She entered the Congregation in 1933 and has lived 85 years in ministry as a Sister of the Precious Blood.

Happy Birthday, Sister Bernice!
