Congratulations to Sisters Mumbi Kigutha and LaKesha Church, who renewed their vows this summer. Both Sisters Mumbi and LaKesha made their first profession of vows in 2018.
Sister Mumbi’s vow renewal took place in Chicago, where she ministers as a part-time international consultant in reconciliation and social cohesion for Jesuit Refugee Service. Mass was held July 25, with Father Denny Kinderman, CPPS, as presider. Sister LaKesha’s vow renewal took place Aug. 24 in the chapel at Salem Heights, our central house in Dayton, with Father Bill Kramer as presider. Sister LaKesha is currently enrolled in a graduate program in early childhood education at Mount St. Joseph University.
