Sisters living at Salem Heights kicked off the holiday season Nov. 26 with a Thanksgiving-themed tea. About a dozen Sisters sipped tea, munched on homemade pumpkin bread, and reminisced as Salem Heights Activity Director Kim Jaynes read poems and told the story of the first Thanksgiving. “The Sisters enjoy the tea and sitting, talking and reminiscing about past times,” Jaynes said. “I always try to make the tea parties interesting and tie them in with a theme.”
