Homicide Vigil

Please hold in your prayers Detective Jorge DelRio who remains in grave condition after being shot during a drug investigation. Pray also for his family and all of our police officers as they struggle with this tragedy. May God grant healing to Detective DelRio and strength to those who love him.

This Saturday, November 9th, we will hold memorial vigils for two victims both killed at the end of October: Vaughn Erwin, 30, on Lexington Avenue and Cora Rose Fraley, 26, on S. Hedges Street. At this Saturday’s vigil we will also pray for two persons whose bodies were found in burned out garages: Kwasi Casey, 40 on Fountain Avenue and Patrick Northern, 53, on N. Horton Street. The investigation continues in their deaths and in the death of Lavetta Kirk, 64, on Kimmel Lane, Jefferson Twp. Recently it was reported that Kane Iboch, 20, of Springboro lost his life on Germantown Pike in early October. We will remember him this Saturday as well.
