Thank you for Celebrating With Us!

On Sunday, October 1 — the birthday of our foundress, Maria Anna Brunner — we celebrated the 100th anniversary of the Sisters of the Precious Blood coming to Dayton. The liturgy and reception at Precious Blood Church were even more joyful than we could have imagined.

We thank all who joined in prayer and celebration with us: our Sisters; Missionaries of the Precious Blood; diocesan priests; Trotwood’s Mayor Mary McDonald and Trotwood city commissioners; and people from many, many ministries the Sisters work with. Over 200 people gathered.

Some of the groups represented were Brigid’s Path, Brunner Literacy Center, CPPS Heritage Mission Fund, Homefull, Homicide Vigils, Miami Valley Meals, prayer groups, former members, Sisters from other congregations, family and friends and many, many more who share our Precious Blood Spirituality. THANK YOU!

From the top, Deacon Andy Rammel and Father Jeff Kirch; over 200 in attendance for Mass; Jim Butler and the Salem Heights Choir; Trotwood Mayor Mary McDonald gives Sr. Joyce Lehman a Proclamation celebrating the Congregation’s 100 years; The Trotwood City Council; Danny Schneible photos.
