CPPS’ historic ties to Cincinnati celebrated at 175th anniversary event
CINCINNATI — On Nov. 15, more than 275 well-wishers and Precious Blood Sisters filled St. Margaret Mary Church in Cincinnati’s North College Hill neighborhood to offer thanksgiving for God’s blessings and CPPS ministry in the region.

Beginning in the late 1920s, numerous teenage girls attended the high school aspirancy of the Sisters of the Precious Blood. Over the years, many of these young women went on to become sisters. Others moved into different walks of life.

GLANDORF, Ohio — The Labor Day weekend marked a gala twin celebration in the village of Glandorf, Ohio: the 175th anniversary of the foundation of the village (by emigrants from the city of the same name in Germany) and its St. John the Baptist Church, and the 175th anniversary of the founding of the Sisters of the Precious Blood, with historic ties to the area since their arrival in America.

MARIA STEIN – Close to 500 people filled the grounds of the Maria Stein Center on Sunday, Aug. 16, for a Mass and picnic to help the Sisters of the Precious Blood celebrate their 175th anniversary at this historic and memory-filled site.

ANAHEIM, Calif. — Sharing & Caring, the quarterly newsletter of the Sisters of the Precious Blood, recently received a top national award from the Catholic Press Association of the United States and Canada.

Close to 300 attend Salem Heights open house
DAYTON – Close to 300 guests — neighbors, first-time visitors and old-time friends, sisters’ family members, and members of several CPPS communities in the area joined officials from the City of Trotwood for the 2-4 p.m. Open House.
