The results are in!
Sharing & Caring received a first place award from the Catholic Press Association for the article “Si, Señor,” which appeared in the Spring 2017 issue of the newsletter. The article examined the work of several Precious Blood Sisters within Hispanic communities around the U.S.
The award category was “Best Feature Article: Newsletter.” The judges noted: “This story shows an example of devoted service, hitting a fine balance between narrative and detail.”
The CPA is a professional organization of Catholic journalists and communicators. It publishes the newspaper The Catholic Journalist and organizes the Catholic Press Awards and Catholic Book Awards, among other professional development activities. All the 2018 award winners are listed online here.
