Sister Carmelita Monnin ministered in Chile for almost sixty years in the ministries of teaching and pastoral work. Born in Russia, Ohio, Sister Carmelita spent only five years teaching in Dayton, Ohio, before going to Chile in 1958. She remained there until her death in 2015.
